21 Mar Perfect Pens for Bible Study
I originally bought these Tombow Twintone pens when I was trying to get into hand lettering, but I’ve recently found that they make are perfect for taking notes and journaling in my Bible.
A couple month ago, I decided to buy a journaling Bible, and didn’t like the harshness of writing in it with regular pens. I love that Twintone pens have two sides – a thicker one that I can use for underlining, highlighting, and even lettering or drawing in the margins, and a thin tip side for taking smaller notes.
The pens come in sets of 12 – they have Pastels, Brights and Rainbow color options. I picked Pastels because I loved the lightness of it AND it’s the only set that comes with grey (if you know me, you know I love grey).
I also found these pens are great for color-coding my Bible notes which gives me a quick at-a-glance at what a passage highlights. I can find my notes more quickly and it actually helps me remember passages visually by color.
Here is how I color-coded my notes:
Orange – Scriptures that give instruction
Green – Promises of God
Blue – Key words or symbols (and anything related to the Holy Spirit)
Pink – Words of Warning
Purple – any verses talking about the end times
Grey – other miscellaneous, important things
Right now on Amazon, the whole set of Tombow Twintone pens is only $11.07. I might just end up getting myself another set for backup. And if you purchase via any of the links on this page or the button below, I get a tiny kickback, so thank you for that!
